From a bedroom… to the nerd dream factory

Popsplanet was born in 2018 out of a passion for Funko Pops and has now become one of the leading destinations in Italy for collectibles, nerd events, and customized products.

It all started in a bedroom

Back in 2018, when finding Funko products in Italy was almost an impossible mission, Popsplanet was born.

Not in an office.
Not in a store.
But in a bedroom.

Antonio Galluccio, a pop culture enthusiast already experienced in the world of online sales, had a simple idea: to create a place where every collector could find what they were looking for, with no compromises.

That’s how Popsplanet came to life: first as a digital project, then as a go-to destination for anyone seeking Funko Pops, collectibles, and nerd culture.

From digital… to the real world

The passion grew.
The community grew.
And in 2020 came the first big step.

The very first Popsplanet physical store opened in Via Pigna.
A small shop, just a few hundred Funkos, but with one huge thing: the desire to do something different.

Then came COVID.
And that’s when everything was decided.

Instead of giving up, Antonio and Carlino went all-in:
a new space, new responsibilities… and an even bigger vision.

Not just for collectors.
For a new nerd generation

That’s exactly when Popsplanet reinvented itself.

No longer just a shop for adult enthusiasts.
But a reference point for younger people as well.

A place to discover that there’s so much more than a screen: gaming, collecting, events, community.

Because being a nerd isn’t just a passion:
It’s a way of life.

From a store… to a universe

Summer 2024.
Popsplanet grows once again.

The store doubles in size: over 200 sqm dedicated to pop culture, games, collectibles, and events.

It’s no longer just a shop.
It’s a place where things happen.

From ideas… to real products

Now we’re in 2026.
And here, everything changes.

Popsplanet steps into the world of creation:

  • 3D printing (resin and filament)
  • large formats up to 80x80x100 cm
  • laser engraving
  • UV printing on objects and fabrics

Today we can turn an idea… into something you can actually touch.

A gift.
A one-of-a-kind piece.
A project.
